Stratogen Accounting InterSchool Regatta

2024 Sunshine Coast Stratogen Inter-School Dinghy Regatta

We’re excited to announce the return of the Sunshine Coast Stratogen Accounting Inter-School Dinghy Regatta.

Now in its 24th year with Stratogen Accounting being behind the event since its inception.

A huge thank you to the large contingent of NYRC sailors who volunteer to ensure the event is fun, safe and competitive.

It is great to see the community and club get behind youth sailing.

The Stratogen Accounting Inter-School Regatta 2023 was a great success! 14 teams from 5 Schools across the Sunshine Coast competed in the Regatta, with a total of 16 races held across both divisions. The conditions weren’t looking favourable leading up to the event with high winds and rain, however, the rain held off for the most part and the wind stayed consistent which meant we had some fantastic races with very close finishes. The results for the secondary division consisted of a tiebreaker to determine 2nd and 3rd place, and 1st place was only 2 points ahead.

All of the students displayed both a high level of sailing and support for each other, when they weren’t on the water they were cheering for the other teams at the end of the Jetty.
