NOOSA YACHT & ROWING CLUB REGATTA PROGRAM

2021 Sunshine Coast Stratogen Inter-School Dinghy Regatta

Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th May 2021

The Stratogen Accounting Inter-school Regatta 2021 was a great success. 13 teams from 5 schools across the Sunshine Coast competed in the Regatta, now in its 21st year. Fine weather with a lack of wind delayed the start on Saturday however, this didn’t dampen the student’s enthusiasm as they took to the water whilst waiting for the wind to fill.  The breeze built over the rest of the weekend allowing a total of 16 races to be held across both divisions. Students displayed both a high level of sailing skills and good camaraderie between the teams and were encouraged by vocal parents who had a front-row seat at the end of the jetty.  Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club provided the perfect venue for viewing the action with a front-row seat across the water which families also took advantage of.

A special thanks to all the volunteers, parents, team captains and School co-ordinators for their support and encouragement of Junior Sailing.
